Summary
This module covers general research skills and personal development skills. It contains a number of workshops examining areas such as presentation and writing skills, careers, understanding the wider context of research, consultancy, and practical and ethical issues, along with appropriate Graduate School courses.
Target Students
Students registered on MSc in Psychology Research Methods or other PG courses in Psychiatry and Applied Psychology or Psychology.
Classes
- One 2-hour workshop each week for 4 weeks
6 timetabled workshops, flexible training, seminars and independent study.
Assessment
- 90% Coursework 1: 1x 5,000 word portfolio
- 10% Coursework 2: Presentation - 10minutes
