Summary
Social Pharmacy incorporates the social implication associated with the therapeutic and nontherapeutic uses of pharmaceutical preparations as examined from the perspective of individual and group behavior and the social systems that exist between them. Pharmacists empowered with relevant behavioural know-how can be reasonably expected to contribute to enhancing patient's health and illness through behavioural-change interventions. In the process of developing the professional skills, students need to understand that patients will have their own beliefs, views, and perspectives about their health and the use of medicines.
