Educational Aims
This course aims to introduce students to the concept of nursing professionalism and professional regulation by identifying legal, governance and ethical practice and how they relate to the people they care for in diverse settings. This will facilitate the students’ knowledge of professional responsibility, reflecting the need to act as a role model and professional ambassador to promote public confidence in nursing. By focusing on the above aims students will engage with adult learning concepts relevant to maintaining personal effectiveness and currencyLearning Outcomes
