Summary
This module provides the opportunity to develop skills in composition at an advanced level.
Target Students
Only available for students studying MRes Music
Classes
- One 1-hour tutorial each week for 2 weeks
- One 30-minute tutorial each week for 18 weeks
Tutorial, 18 weeks, 1 per week, 30mins Supervision, 2 weeks, 1 per week, 1 hour
Assessment
- 80% Assessment 1: Portfolio of original compositions, at least 30 minutes
- 20% Assessment 2: Critical commentary, 5000 words
