Summary

A project based module for MEng Product Design and Manufacture students in the 4th year of the programme. Here, students will be required to work as a member of a group to develop a solution to a complex brief that considers a range of factors including health and safety, environmental sensitivity, commercial elements and legal requirements. All students will lead their group in the development of a particular area of a product or system. Further, groups will be expected to produce a technical specification that outlines manufacturing details and assembly processes.

Re-assessment
Students who fail this module overall and are required to complete a re-assessment will be re-assessed by coursework. The re-assessment mark for the module will be a combination of the marks from coursework passed first time and the coursework which have been re-assessed.
