Summary
The module will allow students to learn about the current research that is happening in the field of neuroscience. The most up to date in vivo, genetic, cellular and molecular research will be covered. They will learn how to write a grant application and will be able to develop their own ideas for research areas.
Target Students
4th year level compulsory for MSci Neuroscience students and available to 3rd year BSc Neuroscience students.
Classes
This module may be delivered through lectures, seminars, workshops and labs etc
Assessment
- 100% Coursework 1: A grant proposal (3000 words).
Assessed by end of designated period

This module is designed expand students' knowledge of current and cutting-edge neuroscience research, with a focus on the molecular mechanisms in health and disease.Learning Outcomes
