Summary
This module explores the body of rules and principles governing international sale of goods contracts under English law as well as the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna, 1980).

Educational Aims
This module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the international sale of goods in those cases where English law is the applicable law of contract.Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module students would be expected to:
- Appreciate the general legal framework for international sales;
- Analyse and apply the principles governing performance obligations of sellers and buyers under English Law and the UN Convention on International Sale of Goods;
- Analyse and compare central issues of sales regulation in English commercial law with the UN Convention on International Sale of Goods;
- Analyse selected issue of property in sales in a comparative context;
- Analyse the remedial framework for international sales;
- Explore the basic policies underlying international sales law.
