Summary
This module consists of an essay set in a module the student will usually have already studied. It is intended to test the depth of the student’s knowledge of that subject area but does not require significant independent research.
Target Students
Only available to UG Year 2 or Final Year students in the School of Law and exchange students hosted by the School of Law.
Classes
Students will engage in library research on a topic allocated by a member of staff.
Assessment
- 100% Coursework: 18 pages

To produce students with a practical appreciation of legal research techniques. To improve students' legal writing.Learning Outcomes
- The benefits of self-learning which relies on initiative and inquisitiveness;
- Application of legal reasoning skills including demonstration of understanding, knowledge, application, evaluation and critique.
