Summary
The module considers modern econometric techniques for modelling microeconomic data. It covers four broad econometric techniques:
Robust standard errors and applications
Discrete choices model
Microeconometric policy evaluation methods for observational studies
Instrumental variables and GMM estimation.
Target Students
Available for PGT or PGR students on Economics degree programmes.
Classes
This module is delivered via a combination of lectures and computer classes.

- 30% Coursework: Group Coursework
- 70% Exam (2-hour): Exam
