Summary
This module consists of a series of tutorials for MSc students. It forms part of the personal tutor system within the School of Computer Science. There is at most one tutorial per week. Many will be self-study, otherwise they may be in the personal tutor's office together with a group of other MSc students assigned to the same personal tutor, forming a tutor group.
There are four types of tutorials:
- General: covering academic life and practical aspects related to your studies.
- Guidance in Extenuating Circumstances
- Guidance in Academic Misconduct
- Drop-in sessions
The tutorials are timetabled centrally and will thus appear in the personalised timetables. All tutorials, except the ones designated “drop-in” are compulsory.
