- One 3-hour lecture each week for 5 weeks

Total of 100 hours. There are 25 contact hours, including 15 hours of lectures and 10 hours of small group computer lab sessions. The remaining 75 hours are made up of independent study time involving 40 hours background reading, 35 hours coursework preparation.

Knowledge and understanding: This module develops a knowledge and understanding of:
Empirical analysis of economic and financial data with a particular focus on identifying causality. The module also familiarises students with the tools and techniques for transforming (big) data to inform business analysis and decision.
