Summary
The module examines theories of firm internationalization and various strategic choices facing international managers. Detailed case-studies are examined, illustrating more general points by referring to firms and entrepreneurs that have set important benchmarks in business performance and globalisation.

Classes
- One 1-hour-30-minute lecture each week for 11 weeks
- One 2-hour-30-minute lecture each week for 11 weeks
Total Contact Hours: 44 hours. The remaining 156 hours are for independent study, including 56 hours for background reading, 50 hours for coursework preparation, and 50 hours for revision purposes

- 50% Exam 1 (2-hour): 2 hour examination

Educational Aims
The module’s principle aim is to help students learn internationalization theory, understand the various strategies that multinational enterprises adopt and practice application of those strategies through cases and examples.Learning Outcomes
