Summary
This module aims to provide students with a critical understanding of the context, strategies, issues and key debates of International Human Resource Management (IHRM). Areas covered include: Globalization and HRM; HRM in Multinational Companies; HRM in emerging economies.

Classes
- Two 2-hour lectures each week for 10 weeks
40 contact hours, 160 hours of self-study time. Total 200 hours.
Assessment
- 30% Presentation 1: Group Presentation (20 mins with Q&A)
- 70% Exam 1 (2-hour): Examination: 2 hours
Educational Aims
To introduce students to the concepts and key debates in International Human Resource Management, and to illustrate how culture and institutions affect HR policies and practices.Learning Outcomes
