A Practice/Data Led Dissertation Project in Business Analytics with supervision.

Classes
Contact between students and their academic supervisors normally take place via face-to-face meetings and/or telephone, video conferencing and e-mail. Students are encouraged to initiate contact and can expect access to their supervisor equivalent to at least four meetings over the course of the dissertation.
Assessment
- 100% Dissertation: Dissertation (exhibits and data visualisations) (8,000 words)
Educational Aims
The project represents the culmination of the programme and requires candidates to design, execute and report a research project based on the analysis of real- world or simulated data. The project will be required to satisfy scholarly objectives consistent with the execution of quality applied research in a business of social context.Learning Outcomes

•Information systems and business intelligence - the development, management, application and implementation of information systems and their impact upon organisations
•Tools and techniques for transforming (big) data into useful information for business analysis and decision support
•Communications – the comprehension and use of relevant communications for application in business and management, including the use of digital tools
•Digital business – the development of strategic priorities to deliver business at speed in an environment where digital technology is reshaping traditional revenue and business models, associated risk management
