Summary
Management Project as a Business Analysis Project requires the student to undertake research in a topic relevant to business or management. Course members enrolled on a specific MBA variant must undertake a Management Project related to their named variant. The specific topic is subject to an approval process.
Target Students
Available for students on one of the Executive MBA variants OR MBA Executive Senior Leadership students.
Classes
- One 1-hour workshop each week for 6 weeks
This module is delivered through a series of workshops.
Assessment
- 70% Project: 15,000 words. Re-assessment: 15,000 words individual report.
- 30% Presentation: 30 minutes (20 mins, plus 10 mins Q&A). Re-assessment: 15,000 words individual report.

Educational Aims
To enable part-time and executive MBA students to: demonstrate their understanding of and ability to use concepts, techniques and methods of analysis through independent research to significantly develop their business and management skills to enable students to develop an integrated view of their learning across their programme of study via the analysis of key management or business problem (relevant to their chose MBA specialisation where appropriate).Learning Outcomes

This module develops:

This includes the capability to identify assumptions, evaluate statements in terms of evidence, detect false logic or reasoning, identify implicit values, define terms adequately and generalise appropriately
