Target Students
Part I and Part II students who have taken BUSI1093 Fundamentals of Financial and Management Accounting AND BUSI1001 Computers in Business.
Classes
- One 1-hour seminar each week for 2 weeks
- One 1-hour lecture each week for 11 weeks
11 one-hour lectures and 2 x 1 hour seminars. Please note all non-lectures will be timetabled in the Business School
Assessment
- 35% Coursework: Coursework
- 65% Exam (2-hour): In person exam.

Educational Aims
To provide students with an understanding of how information technology can support the activities of the accountant and management within an organisation and the problems associated with controlling and auditing such resulting information systems.Learning Outcomes

• The development, management, application and implementation of information systems and their impact upon organisations
• The risk management and control of accounting information systems.
