Qualifying Year UG Business School students who have taken BUSI1007 Quantitative Methods 1a or who have A level or equivalent in Maths. Students cannot take BUSI1008 if they are taking or have taken BUSI1006 Quantitative Analysis for Business.

- One 1-hour workshop each week for 8 weeks
- Two 1-hour lectures each week for 10 weeks

- 20% Coursework: Coursework. Reassessment: 100% in person exam 2Hr
- 80% Exam (2-hour): In person exam. Reassessment: 100% in person exam 2Hr

● The applications of economics. To discover how to apply relevant economic principles and reasoning to a variety of applied topics, in particular in the fields of industrial organisation and managerial economics.

● Mathematical methods for economics
● Statistical methods for economics
