- 25% Coursework 1
- 25% Inclass Exam 1 (Written)
- 50% Exam 1 (2-hour)

Educational Aims
On completion of this module the students should, in an aerospace context:• Understand how projects are selected and financially evaluated;• Be able to construct and monitor the elements of an engineering or business programme;• Have an ability to identify and manage risks and quality issues in the industrial and business context.• Have an understanding of the basics of English Law;• understand airworthiness and certification within the supporting legal framework.Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students will be able to:
LO1 – Understand the basis of modern techniques of Project, Programme and Quality Management.
LO2 - Explain how to develop, monitor and deliver a technical programme within ethical, commercial and legal constraints.
LO3 - Understand the origin and importance of business risk, technical risk and safety risk.
LO4 - Demonstrate the ability to understand Explain the principles and obligations associated with Contract Law.
LO5 - Understand the importance of airworthiness and explain the legal and regulatory framework that applies to aircraft and engines
